In a nutshell, Airstore is a multi-datacenter, fault-tolerant, cost-effective, cloud storage API.
All your files are uploaded in at least 2 datacenters, possibly in different locations (US/EU/Asia), that are fully configurable.
For example, if your customers are only in Asia, it's possible to upload your file in 3 locations in Asia (China, Singapore, Seoul) because for speed reasons it doesn't make sense to upload your files in the US.
Currently, our system work with 4 datacenters in Europe, 1 in the US, and we can also plug Airstore with Amazon S3, meaning that all your files would also be uploaded in S3. [see with support].
We build a system that is as robust as possible, which is able to resist to a datacenter failure or slowness.
